Multi-User Dungeons are the predecessors of games like World of Warcraft and Everquest. They are text-based, online role playing games, developed many years ago. Up to date, they are still played around the world and have a huge following. If you are a self-respecting MUD player, then you have used zMud, the best MUD client. That is until CMUD was released, CMUD is developed by the same people that made zMUD, and it shares all of its features. CMUD was developed for newer operative systems like Windows XP and Vista. The interface has been revised, as well as the basic utility engines. The client runs faster and it is much more stable than zMUD. You can still import all of your environments from zMud to CMUD, and you can even run the two clients simultaneously. However the differences are noticeable and CMUD has more muscle and speed. With features such as multiple windows, auto-mapping, aliases, triggers, scripts, ftp and many more, CMUD is the ultimate Mud client. With a price tag of $29.95 its worth the buy, if you already have a zMud license you don't need to buy CMUD, just download and play. |
